Detectagas Carbon Monoxide Alarm Test Gas Kit

New Smoke and Carbon Monoxide regulations require residential landlords in England to have working and regularly tested smoke and CO alarms in all residential properties. The new legislation came in to force on 1st October 2015. Detectagas® has been developed to inject a specific and safe level of test gas into a specially designed shroud over the CO alarm, allowing the alarm’s sensor and circuit to be tested. Simply pressing the test button on CO alarms does not test the sensor nor prove that contaminated air is reaching the sensor via the casing vents.
